The Legal Challenges of the Data Economy

Depuis l’entrée en vigueur du RGPD et le durcissement des enquêtes européennes et américaines sur les pratiques anti-concurrentielles des grandes plateformes de données, les enjeux liés à la “Data Economy” sont mis en exergue.

Afin d’aborder ces problématiques, l’Institut Montaigne co-organise, avec le Coase-Sandor Institute for Law and Economics à l’Université de Chicago, le Collège des Bernardins, le Cercle Montesquieu et la Chaire numérique, gouvernance et innovations institutionnelles de Sciences Po, une journée de conférence sur les enjeux légaux de la “Data Economy”. 

Cette conférence explorera le rôle des algorithmes dans la gouvernance de la société, les enjeux éthiques qu’ils soulèvent, la personnalisation des marchés et de la loi, la confidentialité et la sécurité des données des consommateurs, les politiques de concurrence et d’antitrust, la propriété des données, etc.

Les échanges se feront en anglais.
