As a relatively new structure - founded in 2016 - the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank has come a long way, but still has a lot to learn. During this discussion, Ludger Schuknecht discussed the challenges it now faces, particularly in realising its vision whilst remaining financially sustainable and accountable. He further discussed what the future of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank looks like in the face of multilateralism and climate change and the role which Europe will play in this future.
