A China analyst in the Asia-Pacific programme of the Polish Institute of International Affairs, Marcin Przychodniak's research mainly focuses on China's foreign policy and internal affairs. In 2012, he received a doctoral degree in the field of political science from Warsaw University. In 2005, he had already graduated from Adam Mickiewicz's University (M.A. in political science with two faculties: foreign affairs and journalism). In 2010 he also completed a course “Politics and culture in countries of Asia and Africa” in the Polish Academy of Social Sciences. Between 2012 and 2016, Marcin Przychodniak worked as a diplomat in the political section of Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Beijing.
