Baudelaire Mieu is an Ivorian journalist who has been working for the Paris-based magazine Jeune Afrique for the past fifteen years. He also writes for the American agency Bloomberg News. With two decades of journalistic experience, Baudelaire Mieu has been covering the politics and economics of Ivory Coast and other West African countries for several years.

Baudelaire Mieu began his career in the local Ivorian press in 2000 before joining, two years later, the American news agency DowJones, specialised in economic news. He later joined Associated Press, then Voice of America. In January 2005, he took a two-year sabbatical to work within the Communication unit of Prime Minister Charles Konan Banny's office.
