Ulrika Björkstén

Ulrika Björkstén is a journalist and Head of the Science Newsroom at Swedish public radio Sveriges Radio, which has an audience of about 1 million listeners per day (10% of the Swedish public). She is also a science journalist at radio station P1 (Studio Ett, Morgon, Ekot), where she is also a member of the advisory board. 

Visiting Fellow in History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Cambridge, UK, Ulrika Björkstén specializes in the societal implications of genetic and genomic developments. She also holds a PhD in physics and chemistry from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Switzerland.
