Tom David

Tom David joined Institut Montaigne's digital program in February 2023, first as a research assistant, then as policy officer in charge of technological foresight. In this role, he deals with issues relating to artificial intelligence (AI), focusing on delimiting the risks and opportunities it presents for our societies.

Prior to this position, Tom worked in the Research and Strategy department of the Research Centre of the Gendarmerie Nationale Officers College (CREOGN). He also assisted the Chief of Staff of the Prefect of Yonne in security policy and crisis management matters, and contributed to launching an organization named EffiSciences.

Tom David is a graduate of the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon (ENS), with a background in social sciences.
