Nandan Unnikrishnan is a Distinguished Fellow, heading Eurasian Studies at Observer Research Foundation (ORF), New Delhi.
Prior to joining ORF, he was a journalist from 1980 to 1995 with India’s premier news agency The Press Trust of India (PTI). He left PTI, after a 4-year stint as its Chief of Bureau in Moscow to join and head India's first television news channel - TVI, started by the Business India group. He joined the Observer Research Foundation in 2004. Unnikrishnan's main area of specialization is the former Soviet space, particularly India-Russia relations. His work is widely published across the world.
