Max D. Bouchet

Research Analyst at The Brookings Institution

Max Bouchet is a researcher with the Metropolitan Policy Program and the Global Economy & Development Program of the Brookings Institution in Washington DC. Max researches regional inequality, the global competitiveness of city-regions, and the role of cities in global governance. He also stewards the SDG Leadership Cities network to help local leaders implement the UN 2030 Agenda. In this capacity, he regularly engages with local leaders from the Global North and South. Over 2018-19, Max combined his analysis on global cities with a Global Governance Futures fellowship from the Robert Bosch Foundation and was an Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leader of the Policy Center for the New South.

He graduated from Sciences Po Paris.
