From August 2014 until April 2018, she served as State Secretary for the German Federal Ministry of Defence. From 2000 to 2014, she worked for the management consulting firm McKinsey & Co. In 2007, she became head of McKinsey's Berlin office, and in 2010 she was put in charge of their Public Sector Practice in Germany. At McKinsey, Suder oversaw consulting projects at the German Federal Employment Agency, a number of federal ministries, as well as leading European companies in the telecommunications, software and information technology sector. After graduating from RWTH Aachen University with a degree in Physics, she earned her PhD in Computational Neuroscience from the University of Bochum in 2000.04/06/2021 Digital Compass: Europe’s Digital Sovereignty?
