Jordan Tama

Provost Associate Professor at the School of International Service at American University

Jordan Tama is a Provost Associate Professor at the School of International Service at American University, Senior Director of Bridging the Gap, and Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. His research examines the politics, processes, and tools of U.S. foreign policy. His publications include five books and numerous journal articles, policy reports, and articles in major newspapers and magazines. He has served as a senior aide in the U.S. Congress and as a foreign policy advisor to Barack Obama’s first presidential campaign. He received Master’s and Ph.D. degrees from the Princeton University School of Public and International Affairs.
