Before joining MERICS, she worked as a Research Fellow Asia at the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) and also worked as a geopolitical analyst for the London-based hedge fund CQS, and as assistant to Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, former Secretary General of NATO.
