Amélie joined Institut Montaigne as a Senior Fellow in December 2023 where she focuses on questions relating to compliance, governance, ESG and the challenges of extraterritoriality.

As a member of the Paris Bar, Amélie has been assisting companies for the past twenty years in  their national, European and international development, with a focus on ethics and compliance.  Her six years of practice in Asia (2009-2015) led her to specialize in strategic and commercial  partnership and development projects between Europe, Asia and Africa.

As a French Foreign Trade Advisor, she advocates for a global and cross-disciplinary approach  to law, compliance and business intelligence. She promotes a practical and operational approach to risk prevention and crisis management.

She regularly organizes seminars and training and regularly publishes for national and  international outlets. Her latest publication Beyond European extraterritoriality argued for legal  intelligence and compliance in the service of sovereignty (January 30, 2023).
Amélie is a member of the Steering Committee of the “Business Ethics: Compliance and ESG,  sustainability reporting” Academic Chair at the Lille Catholic University and of the Scientific  Committee of the “International Compliance and Business Ethics” University Diploma. She  teaches contract and compliance law.

She is a graduate of the Universities of Paris Panthéon-Assas and Paris Dauphine-PSL.
