France and Europe in the World – April 24th Institut Montaigne’s monthly newsletter |
|
Welcome back to Institut Montaigne’s selection of handpicked analyses, France and Europe in the World. Before we get to this month’s edition, we want to share some exciting news: we have a new website, which includes a new logo, revamped publication formats and color palette. Our publications are split into two sections. The first is dedicated to Montaigne’s instructive research and practical recommendations for decision-makers and industry leaders. The second, Expressions by Montaigne, welcomes a broad array of opinions by authors and thinkers for an informed debate—a cornerstone of a healthy democracy. We hope you enjoy the new website—and please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any feedback. And now on content. This month, we dive into EU-Japan economic security cooperation and how it might inform the EU’s economic security strategy. We then look at President Macron’s comments on Taiwan and his proposal for European economic security. Lastly, we consider ways the G7 could promote industrial decarbonization in the lead-up to the Hiroshima Summit. Happy reading! |
